We are actively recruiting for a Picker/Packer to join our state-of-the-art facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is integral to our supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our valued customers. As a Picker/Packer, you will utilize advanced scanning technology to locate and retrieve products from our extensive inventory. You will then meticulously package these items, ensuring they are protected during transit and ready for shipment. Accuracy and speed are key performance indicators in this position. We are committed to fostering a safe work environment and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). A strong understanding and strict adherence to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards, is required. This position involves significant physical demands, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs and extended periods of standing, walking, and bending. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from designated warehouse locations using RF scanners.
- Package products securely and efficiently to prevent damage.
- Verify order accuracy against pick lists.
- Label packages correctly and stage them for outbound logistics.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Achieve daily production targets for picking and packing.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock rotation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse picking/packing experience is advantageous.
- Physical capacity to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe and secure workplace.
