Join our growing logistics team as a Warehouse Associate in Durham, North Carolina. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environment. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a wide range of tasks critical to the smooth operation of our distribution center, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will work with a dedicated team, utilizing modern equipment and systems to manage inventory effectively. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and possesses a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle various warehouse duties.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock merchandise onto shelves or designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Conduct inventory counts and participate in stock checks.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety standards.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and adhere to safety regulations.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
