Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from assigned warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Inspect items for damage or defects prior to packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
- Utilize scanning equipment to track inventory movement and ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform tasks involving frequent Lifting and maneuvering of boxes and items up to 40 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Stage packed orders correctly for the shipping department.
- Contribute to inventory accuracy through diligent scanning and reporting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics principles.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Physical capability for frequent Lifting and manual dexterity.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Understanding and adherence to Safety guidelines.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
