We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in our Nashville, Tennessee warehouse! As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Your responsibilities will include picking items from various warehouse locations, verifying order details, and preparing items for the next stage of the logistics process. This fast-paced role requires a sharp mind, physical agility, and a dedication to accuracy and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from warehouse inventory based on order specifications.
- Utilize scanning equipment to track picked items.
- Verify product numbers and quantities against customer orders.
- Package items securely for transport and stage them for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Assist in regular inventory counts and stock checks.
- Be capable of frequent Lifting of items, up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret order forms and labels accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 30 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics principles.
- A proactive approach to workplace safety.
- Must be dependable and work well within a team.
