Join our dynamic team in Nashville, Tennessee as an Order Picker! We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to accurately pick and stage customer orders for shipment. This role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will be responsible for navigating our warehouse efficiently, utilizing scanning technology, and maintaining a high level of productivity. A commitment to safety and accuracy is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Verify product identification and quantities.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Be prepared for frequent Lifting of items, typically up to 35 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and RF scanner prompts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory control is a plus.
- A strong commitment to safety is required.
