Become a key member of our logistics team as a Picker/Packer in sunny Tampa, Florida! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join us in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise picking of items from inventory and the careful packing of orders for shipment. Your efficiency and attention to detail are paramount to our success in the fast-paced world of e-commerce fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick merchandise from warehouse shelves according to order specifications using handheld scanners.
- Inspect picked items for quality and correctness before packing.
- Securely pack orders, selecting appropriate packaging materials to protect items during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch by carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory tasks such as cycle counts and stock replenishment as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and productively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive lifting, up to 45 pounds.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
