Join our dedicated logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as an Order Picker. We are looking for individuals who are motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our order fulfillment process. Your role as an Order Picker will directly impact customer satisfaction by ensuring that the right products are selected and prepared for shipment promptly. This position involves working in a dynamic warehouse setting and requires a strong focus on safety and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Utilize RF scanners or pick sheets to manage inventory and track order progress.
- Inspect products for any damage or defects before fulfillment.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or staging stations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Participate in inventory counts and stocktaking activities as required by the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- A strong understanding of safety protocols and commitment to a safe work environment.
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude towards logistics operations.
