Our large-scale distribution center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will play a key part in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of goods to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position requires physical stamina for tasks such as frequent Lifting and moving of merchandise. You will operate various types of warehouse equipment and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational targets. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Sort, categorize, and stock products in designated warehouse areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Load outbound shipments onto transport vehicles.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall operations.
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting and moving of items up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Logistics processes.
- Must wear required PPE , including safety gear and footwear.
- Strong emphasis on workplace Safety and adherence to all procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
