Join our vibrant logistics team as a Receiving Clerk in Miami, Florida! This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming goods. You will be the first point of contact for deliveries, responsible for verifying shipments against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and properly documenting all received items. The Receiving Clerk plays a key role in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting the seamless flow of products through our distribution center. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work collaboratively with carriers, warehouse staff, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing. Key Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks and containers.
- Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders, checking for accuracy in quantity and item description.
- Inspect all incoming materials for damage or defects and report any issues promptly.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label received items for proper identification and storage.
- Liaise with delivery drivers and carriers to ensure smooth receiving operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding received goods and any discrepancies.
- Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Familiarity with Logistics and supply chain processes.
- Must adhere to all company policies and wear required PPE .
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards in the workplace.
