Engineers at RetroFit are responsible for the development and delivery of our technical offerings. This position works in our Network Operations Center as a Level II Engineer. Engineers at RetroFit are smart, hardworking individuals with top level experience and enjoy working on highly visible, technically challenging projects and service offerings. The position requires extensive travel to our client base
*Key Areas of Responsibility *
* Perform routine NOC and helpdesk services.
* Manage, log, and follow up on tickets in a timely manner via phone, email, and computer chat.
* Install, modify, and repair computer and server software and hardware.
* Configuration, management, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and firewalls.
* Management of toolsets used to support clients.
* Follow-up with clients to ensure issues are resolved.
* Escalate issues to the next tier with next level of difficulty.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Minimum Qualifications *
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Experience with Office 365, Windows Server 2012+, Windows 10+, and Office 2016+.
* Experience with RMM, network management, EDR/MDR, and SIEM tools.
* Experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
* Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
* Experience with ticketing and asset management systems.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with a sense of urgency.
* Exceptional oral, written, and documentation communication skills.
* Critical attention to detail and solid creative problem-solving skills.
* Ability to consistently follow policies and procedures.
*Preferred Qualifications *
* VMware ESXi and Hyper-V management.
* Experience with Datto RMM, Auvik, Sophos EDR, Datto/Acronis backup, SIEM and related tools.
* ITILv4 Foundations certification.
* Microsoft 365, Azure, or Windows Server 2012+ certifications.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
