Job Description:

We're looking for a Distribution Center Operations Supervisor who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys leading teams to success. In this role, you'll oversee the daily operations of your assigned production area, ensuring output goals are consistently met while driving cost efficiencies and maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and service. What You'll Do:

  • Lead a collaborative approach across shifts, supporting Associates in executing plans and objectives within timelines and available resources.

  • Align and implement departmental plans daily, weekly, and for the next 3–6 months, anticipating and addressing obstacles to meet production requirements.

  • Plan for seasonal fluctuations and leverage data to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets while driving process improvements across a seven-day operation.

  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships, ensuring efficient merchandise flow and recognizing interdependencies of processes and business changes.

  • Assess Associate performance, providing hands-on coaching, training, and timely feedback to support growth and career aspirations.

  • Organize and allocate work assignments, ensuring adherence to operational, health, and safety standards, and promote positive labour relations under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

  • Participate in annual and special projects, lead grievance meetings, and manage talent acquisition, onboarding, and development planning in collaboration with HR.

About You:

  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in distribution or a similar high-volume, fast-paced environment, with supervisory responsibilities.

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or Engineering is an asset, or equivalent work experience.

  • Skilled in leading teams in medium to large warehouse operations, including planning, prioritizing, and driving performance.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and recommend effective solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and manage conflict effectively.

  • Proven leadership in coaching, performance evaluation, and talent development.

  • Highly organized with strong time management skills; able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with industry-related software.
