Wage
Range: $20-$23/hour

resorts on Vancouver Island's rugged west coast: Moutcha Bay Resort, Nootka
Sound Resort, and Newton Cove Resort

generation of anglers. Our mission is to provide an unparalleled luxury fishing
experience that not only immerses our guests in the natural beauty of our
surroundings but also instills a deep appreciation for fishing and the
environment.

About the Role

The Groundskeeper maintains the cleanliness, safety,
functionality, and overall appearance of the resort grounds and infrastructure
at Moutcha Bay Resort. The role includes landscaping, facility upkeep, waste
management, minor repairs, and guest interaction while supporting daily
maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

·       
Maintain resort grounds through landscaping,
trimming, planting, watering, and garden care.

·       
Perform exterior refresh of guest accommodations
(deck cleaning, BBQ setup, patio upkeep, etc.).

·       
Manage waste collection, transport, and landfill
disposal.

·       
Conduct daily maintenance rounds, refilling
propane, gas, and diesel as needed.

·       
Clean and maintain public washrooms, walkways,
equipment, and building exteriors.

·       
Operate and maintain tools/equipment
(weed-whackers, chainsaws, power washers, etc.).

·       
Complete general handyman tasks (painting, light
bulbs, hanging items, minor repairs).

·       
Assist with campsite preparation and RV septic
pumping.

·       
Load/unload deliveries and maintain organized,
hazard-free resort spaces.

·       
Provide guest assistance, respond to concerns,
and communicate needs to supervisors. 

Qualifications

·       
Legally entitled to work in Canada

·       
Valid driver's license and driver's abstract

·       
Minimum 1 year experience with power/hand tools,
equipment operation and maintenance

·       
Ability to work independently with little supervision

·       
WHMIS
certification

Preferred

·       
OFA1 (Occupational First Aid Level 1)

·       
PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operator's Card)

·       
Propane Handling and Exchange Certification
