Responsibilities

What You'll Do:


• Maintenance job planning – Develop detailed maintenance plans, job scopes, and work packages to support safe, efficient, and timely maintenance execution.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs – Initiate, maintain, and update preventative maintenance schedules to ensure reliability and alignment with operational needs.
• Coordinate materials and resources – Order parts, supplies, and materials required for maintenance work and ensure availability for scheduled tasks.
• Support cross‑department coordination – Work closely with production and operations teams to plan downtime, coordinate maintenance windows, and support equipment readiness.
• Documentation and safety – Maintain accurate records, support compliance activities, and promote safe work practices while providing occasional relief supervision for maintenance teams.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:


• Education – University degree, preferably in a mechanical‑related discipline; a Mechanical Engineering degree is an asset.
• Experience – 2–4 years of maintenance planning experience or 3–5 years in a heavy equipment environment; experience with asset management or preventative maintenance systems is preferred.
• Safety‑minded – Strong commitment to creating and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Organizational excellence – Skilled in planning, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
• Communication strength – Clear, concise communication with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Technical capability – Understanding of maintenance tools, equipment, preventative maintenance practices, and documentation systems.
• Collaborative approach – Ability to work effectively across operations, maintenance, and support teams.
