Job Description: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the RN/RPN provides accurate assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care. An ability to communicate effectively with families and the health care team is required. The individual must possess a progressive and innovative approach to long-term care.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Other Education and Training

  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable

  • Middle Lake is located approximately 41 km north of Humboldt
  • Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
