As a Project Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for providing data driven continuous improvement solutions and analytical services in partnership with project management and senior stakeholders. Your goal will be to ensure procedures, reporting, and data are streamlined where possible. Your success in this position will be demonstrated in your support to both small and large teams, while working on projects both independently and part of a team. Please note, this is a fixed term position anticipated to last 18 months.

Your Responsibilities:
Support in Capital Projects and Engineering Services internal processes, optimizations, and data quality
Accumulate and compile accurate cost and schedule data to support project teams
Aid in development of cost control/scheduling procedures, execution plan, and business plan for projects
Support various continuous improvement initiatives focused on streamlining and data management
Regularly communicate and aid in the roll out of new continuous improvement initiatives
Provides meaningful, accurate historical data and documentation
Your Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong and effective communication skills both verbally and written, including presentations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong Database skills (Microsoft suite of products)
Strong interpersonal skills including collaboration other teams including engineering, procurement and contracts, construction, safety, quality, finance/accounting, operations and 3rd party vendors/suppliers
Strong work ethic, produces accurate and credible deliverables, meets deadlines
Your Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline
Strong in Microsoft Excel, Power Apps, and other Microsoft products
Software experience in Oracle, IBM Cognos analytics, or TM1 is an asset
Software experience in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project is an asset
