What you'll be doing:

  • Support managers and employees across multiple provinces with day-to-day HR guidance
  • Support employees and leaders across multiple provinces with expert guidance on medical leaves, accommodations, and WCB claims
  • Manage all aspects of employee leaves (STD, LTD, WCB, personal, and medical)—from documentation to return-to-work planning
  • Coordinate workplace accommodations in alignment with medical documentation and legislative requirements
  • Advise on employment legislation, policies, compensation, and benefits
  • Coach leaders through performance management and progressive discipline
  • Share data driven insights and solutions based on engagement surveys, stay and exit surveys
  • Provide tailored learning and development to individuals and groups
  • Lead investigations and support employee relations matters
  • Own exciting HR projects that move us—and you—forward 

We are looking for an "A Player" - that means YOU...

  • Experience: 3+ years in an HR Business Partner role, preferably with a focus on accommodations, medical/WCB case management, and leave administration.
  • Education: A post-secondary HR diploma, degree, or certificate is required.
  • Knowledgeable: Familiar with employment standards across multiple provinces
  • Tech-Savvy: Confident using Microsoft Office + HRIS (we use BambooHR)
  • People-Centric: Skilled in building relationships at all levels
  • Proactive: You bring energy, a strategic mindset, and a commitment to supporting and empowering our people.
  • Flexible: Able to manage multiple priorities and travel occasionally (valid driver's license required)
