Location : Remote/Hybrid - Redmond, WA/Markham, ON
SUMMARY:
Join our team as a Procurement & Licensing Specialist, specializing in software and IT asset acquisition for a dynamic, multi-location environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels at sourcing, negotiating, tracking, and managing software licenses and technology vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement to support business operations. You will collaborate closely with the Service Desk, business leadership, and extended IT departments.
Key Responsibilities
Software & IT Procurement
Source, purchase, and renew enterprise software licenses and subscriptions.
Maintain accurate records of license entitlements and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
Coordinate with IT and asset management teams for deployment and tracking of software and hardware.
Experience in working with and tracking licensing with vendors such as Microsoft, Adobe, Salesforce, etc.
Vendor & Contract Management
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with software vendors and service providers.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to review and finalize contracts.
Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong relationships.
Budget & Cost Control
Track procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare cost analysis and procurement reports for leadership.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and software licensing regulations.
Support audits by maintaining accurate procurement documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with IT, Service Desk, and business stakeholders to align procurement with operational needs.
Communicate procurement status and updates to relevant teams.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
Technical Skills
Familiarity with enterprise software licensing models and vendor management.
Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Knowledge of IT asset management tools and ERP systems (e.g., Concur, Dynamics 365).
Additional Qualifications
3+ years in procurement, with a focus on software and IT assets.
A degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or another related field is a plus.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Advanced documentation and organizational skills.
Is a self-starter and can work independently.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Microsoft licensing agreements and enterprise software procurement is preferred.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $67, $82, CAD$ 94,358 - CAD$ 115,326) per year. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws, based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed. The posted range is a good faith estimate and reflects factors that are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary based on job-related factors, including work location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant considerationsOther Compensation (US Only):
