The part you'll play

The Senior Marketing Manager will thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution. This role is ideal for a growth-oriented marketing leader with a strong B2B SaaS background—ideally across demand generation and content—with PharmaTech or HealthTech industry experience highly preferred. The successful candidate will leverage AI-powered tools to improve campaign execution and performance.

Reporting to the CMO, you'll lead and execute integrated, data-driven marketing programs that support demand generation, brand visibility, and engagement with ICP persona life sciences professionals across global markets. You'll work in close partnership with Sales, Marketing Operations, and external resources.

This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role with high visibility and impact, working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.

What you'll focus on

  • Partner with the CMO to support the development and execution of integrated marketing plans informed by data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with the CMO to define and manage marketing KPIs aligned with pipeline acceleration and revenue outcomes.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of integrated campaigns, including demand generation, thought leadership, and event campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize SEO performance as it relates to demand generation and content engagement, leveraging internal stakeholders and external resources to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales Operations to monitor and refine ICP persona role and function segmentation to better leverage prospect behavior and intent.
  • Support growth of the marketable database by identifying gaps in persona roles, functions, and product use cases, partnering with Marketing Operations on execution.
  • Track, report, and analyze campaign and SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics 4 and AI-enhanced insights platforms, and make data-backed optimization recommendations.
  • Translate performance data into actionable recommendations for content, channel mix, and campaign-level investment decisions.
  • Develop and contribute to long- and short-form content supporting demand generation, thought leadership, and SEO/AEO/GEO initiatives, with support from internal and external contributors as needed.
  • Shape and activate thought leadership by partnering with internal subject-matter experts, translating complex ideas into compelling narratives that support campaigns, pipeline progression, and long-term brand credibility.
  • Ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints and marketing materials.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support virtual and in-person events, including attendee targeting, personalization, and post-event performance and ROI analysis.

What you'll bring to the role

We're looking for a mix of these key skills, experience and knowledge

  • 7+ years of demonstrated B2B SaaS marketing experience, with strong proficiency in campaign development and management, content strategy and development, demand generation, thought leadership, and SEO.
  • Strong experience with HubSpot, Google Analytics, and enterprise SEO tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform accurate data analysis and recommend and implement enhancements or corrections in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated success using AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude, Surfer SEO) to improve campaign execution, content performance, and analytical efficiency.
  • 4+ years' recent experience with WordPress.
  • Exceptional ability to develop data-informed messaging that drives engagement with ICP personas.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in clear, accessible language.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent time and task management skills, particularly in an agile and fast-paced environment.

It's preferred if you have this experience:

  • 3+ years in the PharmaTech or HealthTech industry.
  • Experience with quick design tools such as Canva.
  • Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
  • Experience managing budgets and reporting marketing ROI.
  • Global marketing experience across North America, EMEA, and/or APAC.

You'll have these certifications or qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing or equivalent education and/or experience would be beneficial
  • Relevant professional certifications are advantageous.

We value these qualities and attributes in our people

We value diversity of experience, perspective, and background and we recognise that how we work is just as important as what we achieve.

We're built around a few consistent ways of working: driving outcomes, innovating, lifting others up, adapting quickly, leading by example, and bringing people together around a shared purpose. We capture these behaviours in six words: Go-Getter, Trailblazer, Elevator, Shapeshifter, Torchbearer, and Steward, and you'll see them show up in how we collaborate, how we measure performance, and how we get work done day to day.

A Go-Getter focuses on what matters most and drives results without chasing perfection; a Trailblazer is curious, proactive, and always looking for better ways to do things; an Elevator lifts others up through listening, collaboration, and crediting contributions; a Shapeshifter stays positive and calm through change and helps others find clarity and momentum; a Torchbearer leads with initiative and accountability, communicating early and acting in the team's best interests; and a Steward brings steadiness and purpose, uniting people around shared goals with optimism, professionalism, and integrity.

Why should you join us?

Where to start  As a distributed, global team, we operate a high trust environment and we truly walk the talk.  We give our people the tools, flexibility, autonomy, and encouragement they need to thrive.  Here's what that looks like in practice:

  • Work your way. We're digital-first and fully flexible, with asynchronous work as the norm. Our New Zealand offices in Wellington and Palmerston North are always open; come for the snacks, drinks and table tennis, stay for the great people and connection.
  • Pride in what we do.  There's nothing like joining a tech scale-up that's highly regarded on the world stage where what we do makes a tangible difference in the world.
  • Modern tools that work for you. We use the latest systems, including AI, to make work smarter.
  • Space to grow. You'll have access to learning and development resources, plus dedicated tools-down time for personal growth.
  • Time to recharge.  In New Zealand, enjoy an extra week of paid leave; time off over Christmas, and your birthday off.  In the U.S., we offer unlimited PTO and funded health benefits, including dental and medical.
  • A close-knit global team.  You'll be part of a dedicated, collaborative community that stays connected no matter where you're based.
