The Contract Manager, Contract Structuring is responsible to support Canadian exporters in the navigation of Canadian and foreign government procurement systems to reach contract certification and award for contracts that are governed by clear processes and regulations of relatively low risk and/or complexity.

What you'll be doing 

• Maintain a portfolio of existing and vetted Canadian exporters and provide contracting structuring services on sales of goods and services
• Complete analysis of multiple inputs, examine tenders/solicitations, and recommend certification of bids, proposals, offers and signing of contracts
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to endorse the proposal and endorse the exporters and finalize the contract to allow Canadian exporters to sell their goods and services
• Facilitate resolution of policy, technical, and financial issues related to export business transactions
• Monitor the contract structuring progress and the performance or obligations of both the Canadian exporter and foreign buyer
• Participate in trade development activities and explain and promote CCC's role in export development to potential foreign buyers, other government departments, and Canadian and foreign sellers
• Provide support on more complex files to senior team members, gather and track information, review clauses and legal matrix, participate in meetings, and complete check lists and drafts documents

What you'll bring to CCC  

• Completion of a post-secondary education in commerce or business administration
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in contracting and financial management
• English Essential. Bilingual in both official languages is strongly recommended. 
• Knowledge of contract management practices in a domestic and international context
• Knowledge of client /stakeholder relationship management
• Knowledge of relevant processes, policies, and procedures
• Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, discipline-specific software, enterprise software, and technology devices
