Job Overview:
Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, which includes Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint and working with business users and stakeholders to understand their needs and create custom solutions to automate processes and improve data analysis and visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deploy solutions using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI), and SharePoint.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to understand stakeholder pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise.
- Automate business processes with Power Apps and Power Automate; and create Power BI dashboards to visualize the output.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing solutions.
- Contribute across all phases of a project (e.g., Plan, Analyze, Design, Build, Test, and Deploy).
- Ensure the solutions built using the Power Platform are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
- Provide technical support for SharePoint users throughout the company
- Address questions or concerns from business owners or directors regarding the function of the software.
- Monitor SharePoint software for any glitches or problems, troubleshooting issues promptly and seeking out solutions in a timely manner.
- Provide training to those who request it regarding SharePoint usage.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing solutions, and work with other development teams to integrate Power Platform solutions with other systems.
- Identify areas and processes where Power Platform, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.
- Keep up to date with new Power Platform features and capabilities and recommend solutions accordingly.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and management on project status, risks, and issues
Recipe for Success:
- Completion of college diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1 year of experience in Power Platform/PowerApps Development role.
- Knowledge of PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals
- Knowledge of PL-100: Microsoft Power Platform App Maker is an asset
- Deep Understanding of the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, and SharePoint.
