Job Purpose

While interfacing with our customers and sales team, the Warehouse Employee owns a customer order from start to finish and can escalate concerns as required. Also, the employee plays a big role in managing inventory for the facility that they work in.  All work must be performed respecting Health and Safety Guidelines.  

Total Compensation
  • Starting wage: $24.00/hour, $0.50/hour increases every six months for the first two years
  • Annual Short-Term Incentive Bonus: 4% of salary, based on company and individual performance
  • Paid Time Off: 3 weeks of vacation, 5 personal/sick days, and 2 floater days (allocated at the company's discretion)

Hours of Work

 Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management:  Order Receipt, Entry, Confirmation, and fulfillment
  • Communication:   Communicate with Sales, customers and/or other resources as necessary either to inform or address problems.
  • Inventory Management:  Perform physical Shipping and Receiving duties as daily.  Data entry, tracking shipments in the computer system (SAP) and tinting products per specifications.  Other duties as assigned.
  • Health, Safety & Sustainability:  All work must be performed in accordance with all Health & Safety Protocols, AkzoNobel Core Values and Code of Conduct.
Job Requirements
  • 1–3 years of warehouse experience.
  • Customer service experience is considered an asset.
  • 1–3 years of experience operating stand-up forklift trucks (Reach or Counterbalance), including loading and unloading trucks.
  • Valid forklift operator license required.
  • Flexible team player with the ability to occasionally work overtime.
  • Basic computer skills required for email and data entry; familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is an asset.
  • Able to regularly lift 50 lbs (23 kg) or more, and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to accurately distinguish colors for tinting tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail: capable of picking orders accurately and tinting products according to formulas and color standards (training will be provided).
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
