A Designer is responsible for the development of design solutions that that answer our client's business needs – engaging their audience, creating belief in their brands, and ultimately driving sales conversions. You are a hands-on designer that brings creative concepts to life.

Please note, that this is a hybrid role consisting of remote working from home two days per week (Monday, Friday), and three days working in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). This hybrid role can be either for Toronto, Ontario or Calgary, Alberta.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and present strategic design solutions that align with the brief, strategy, and guidelines
  • Propose design ideas and opportunities to enhance concepts provided for development
  • Designing individual assets, you apply a strong eye for aesthetics and detail to design visually compelling and consistent designs
  • Champion brand integrity by ensuring all design elements adhere to client brand standards
  • Follow the creative process seamlessly from concept turnover to final production
  • Organize and maintain design files and master assets per agency process for efficiency and consistency
  • Uphold and elevate the agency's creative standards, pushing for excellence in every project
  • Contribute to a collaborative and inspiring environment, contributing to team mentorship and the growth of junior designers over time

YOUR AREAS OF EXPERTISE

  • You have 3+ years of design experience, ideally with an agency
  • You are an insightful and strategic designer, shopper marketing experience is a definite asset
  • Completion of an accredited design program or equivalent design-related field
  • A robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design approaches and solutions 
  • Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Design Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Dimensions), Excellence in Photoshop an asset
  • Experience with animation, video editing, web & digital design including HTML 5, UX & 3D structural design is an asset
  • An attentive listener with an ability to problem solve based on internal direction or client feedback
  • A positive and proactive problem-solver, with an ability to give constructive feedback on creative
  • Excellent file organization and time management skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • You stay current on digital and design trends that will help drive innovation and creativity
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages is considered an asset
  • You strive to achieve excellence in everything that you do

Compensation: Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data. The range listed is just one component of LPi Group's total compensation package.

Location: This hybrid role can be either for Toronto, Ontario or Calgary, Alberta.
