Designer

This position is with Mint, Salt's sister company. While Salt is supporting Mint with the recruitment process, the successful candidate will be employed directly by Mint and will receive Mint's perks, benefits, and employment terms.
The Role:

As a Designer, you are primarily responsible for solving design problems through inspired, progressive design aesthetics. You work collaboratively with people across the company to bring creative briefs to life, and balance delivering high-quality design with fast revision and request cycles. You are conceptual with your design and constantly look to break conventions. 

Responsibilities: 

• Conceive and create compelling visual design solutions that address strategic business and brand objectives across a range of mediums
• Ability to own the work, be responsible and accountable from concept through production
• Develop and deliver work that elevates and strengthens our clients' brand appeal and perception with consumers, demonstrated through a strong visual aesthetic
• Responsible for articulating and defending conceptual and directional choices with brand/marketing clients 
• Collaborate with copywriters, art directors, producers, project managers, and other creative contributors to achieve an optimal finished product 
• Contribute to a culture of continual creative improvement, innovation, and design excellence
• Develop and maintain solid, collaborative relationships with agency colleagues

Skills, Abilities and Experience: 

• 2+ years of experience, strong design skills with an exceptional portfolio
• Conceptual ability with a strong visual aesthetic, driven by current design trends
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Experience in HTML Development and Coding
• 3D design capabilities
• Ability to effectively integrate design feedback/critique into work 
• Proactive and independent, able to effectively time-manage projects 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve 
• Natural, respectful collaborator across all departments and functions
• AI literacy to prompt, prototype and generate without losing authorship
• Motion Design proficiency is a bonus
• Experience with Figma is a bonus

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $65,000–$75,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, level of responsibility, internal equity, and business needs. This range represents the expected base salary for this role and does not include other elements of Mint's total rewards program.
