Job Description:
As a Business Development Representative, you'll identify and nurture new B2B opportunities, focusing on reservations, SMBs, and key sectors. This role combines outbound prospecting, relationship-building, and sales support to grow our client base.
Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through outbound calls, emails, and networking (minimum 40 calls/week).
- Build relationships with Manitoba businesses and First Nations communities.
- Qualify prospects and schedule consultations/quotes for sales team.
- Track leads and activities in CRM.
- Participate in events, trade shows, and golf tournaments for networking.
- Collaborate on marketing campaigns (e.g., direct mailers) to drive funnel traffic.
- Meet monthly targets for new opportunities and conversions.
- 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience (IT/tech preferred).
- Strong communication and prospecting skills; familiarity with Manitoba market.
- Experience with CRM tools and lead generation (e.g., LinkedIn, Clay).
- Post-secondary education in business/marketing or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license for client visits.
- Results-driven with positive attitude; full-time (40 hours/week).
- Competitive base salary ($42,000–$55,000/year) + uncapped commissions.
