Job Description:
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure Production Request details are correctly noted.
  • Transfer needed details to Work Orders, release Work Orders based on requests/forecasts.
  • Coordinate requests with Supervisors to ensure their understanding on each project.
  • Update Rolling 4-week schedule in planning department and advise if any capacity issues.
  • Distribute Weekly System Reports to Supervisors prior to start of the Work week.
  • Advice on Work Center hours as needed (based on schedule adjust hours; advice down or up for Images department).
  • Process Scanning & Label Functions daily.
  • Daily release of Web Orders from company system.
  • Release MOs based on MAKE-TO-ORDER Requests & Monthly Forecasting from Marketing.
  • Ensure all orders are shipped On-Time.
  • Organize Physical Inventory counts for Raw Materials (Glass, Mirrors) are done as per company timelines. Work with Managing Directors to ensure this is completed as per standard.
  • Work with Design department to ensure accuracy of BOMs.
  • Work with Production Supervisors to ensure accuracy of samples and production items are matching BOM and followed-through on Production Tickets correctly.
  • Use system to track and monitor status of raw material inputs PRIOR to each week production schedule.
  • Ensure no delays in getting the material to assembly line prior to the scheduled work week by checking system status for all work centers.
  • Perform all needed calculations to optimize material yield and eliminate waste.
  • Assist Management with other tasks as required.

Position Requirements:
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of Bills of Materials.
  • Detailed & highly accurate with inputting of data.
  • Work with Manufacturing Software.
  • Very Good Communication Skills.
  • Excellent Follow-up Skills.
  • Solid Work Ethic.
  • Team Player.
