This is a unique opportunity to define a groundbreaking wireless solution with few legacy constraints. The team works with customer requirements and wireless system teams to define modems, high-speed interfaces, embedded processors, and DSP solutions in latest CMOS generation technologies.In This Role You WillImplement a state of the art verification environment to facilitate testing of the RTL against reference Matlab/C modelsDevelop detailed test plans and write tests, run regressions, collect coverage matrices and report progress to the programUtilize the emulation platform to improve and strengthen pre-silicon verification flowCollaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage emulation platform for end-to-end integration testingWork with tool vendors and drive enhancements in emulation methodologyParticipate in the validation of FPGAs using test benches, which can be reused for the ASIC implementationRun formal verification of complex blocks to ensure functional correctnessWork with the design and communication systems team and participate in system level verification using test benches constructed using UVM, System C and DPI-CDevelop a highly automated environment to run regressions that can be used to make builds and maintain organization of the databaseExport Control RequirementDue to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical / Communications Engineering or Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience7+ years of experience in verification preferably in communication systems5+ years of experience in UVM, C, System C, and scripting3+ years of experience in emulationPreferred QualificationsMaster's or Ph.D degree in Electrical / Communications Engineering10+ years of experience in digital verification, preferably in communication systems5+ years of experience in emulationFamiliarity with MatlabFamiliarity with formal verification techniquesStrong written and verbal skillsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Los Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include: work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. The base pay for this position ranges from $143,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $247,600/year in our highest geographic market.
