Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas.
- Pick and fill orders according to customer requirements.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Conduct inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist in maintaining the security and integrity of the warehouse.
- Follow all guidelines for the use of required PPE.
- Support other logistics and warehouse functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and warehouse safety procedures.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Understanding of the importance of PPE in maintaining a safe workplace.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in logistics is a plus.
Working Conditions:
This role involves standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting for extended periods. Work is performed in a warehouse setting which may experience temperature fluctuations. Employees are required to follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
