We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth flow of goods and timely order fulfillment. You will be instrumental in maintaining an organized and productive warehouse environment. Your primary duties will involve transporting raw materials, full goods, and packaging supplies to and from designated areas. Attention to detail is paramount, as is adherence to all safety regulations and company policies. Experience with various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and electric models, is highly desirable. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all employees to actively participate in our safety programs. This includes wearing appropriate PPE at all times, attending safety training sessions, and reporting any potential hazards. The ability to perform heavy lifting tasks up to 50 lbs regularly is also a requirement of this position. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
