Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner data.
- Verify the identity and quantity of picked items.
- Inspect products for any defects or damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packing materials and methods to ensure safe delivery.
- Pack orders efficiently and neatly, optimizing space and presentation.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking and reporting.
- Meet performance targets for speed and accuracy in picking and packing.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in picking, packing, or order fulfillment is a strong asset. Candidates must be comfortable with regular Lifting tasks, handling items up to 40 lbs. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are crucial. Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and inventory control is beneficial. A proactive approach to Safety and a willingness to follow all guidelines are essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting is required. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are valued.
