Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler in Boise, Idaho! We are seeking dedicated individuals to manage the flow of materials throughout our warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and ensuring timely delivery of goods. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing materials for shipment. You will operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, adhering to all safety protocols. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for growth within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and proficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Assist with loading trucks for outgoing shipments.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any damages or discrepancies immediately.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred. Must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and physical stamina. This role involves significant Lifting, often up to 50 lbs. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Safety and follow all guidelines. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
