Seeking a skilled Material Handler for our busy logistics center in Las Vegas, Nevada. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth movement of goods within the warehouse, responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting materials. This role demands a commitment to Safety, efficiency, and accuracy. We are looking for individuals who can perform tasks involving significant Lifting and operate various material handling equipment. You will work as part of a dynamic team, contributing to overall warehouse productivity and inventory accuracy. Adherence to all company Safety policies and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is critical. Comprehensive training on equipment operation and Safety protocols will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Stock materials in designated storage areas, ensuring proper placement.
- Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all logistics and operational procedures.
- Handle tasks requiring considerable Lifting, utilizing safe lifting techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Good physical condition and stamina for demanding tasks.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
