Are you an experienced Forklift Operator seeking an opportunity in Los Angeles, California? We are looking for certified professionals to join our busy warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will play a key role in our logistics operations, ensuring materials are handled correctly and efficiently throughout the facility. This includes loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory to and from storage areas, and assisting with order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, highly reliable, and possesses a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and arrange inventory according to established guidelines.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and put-aways.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Ensure proper handling of all goods to prevent damage.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of general logistics operations.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE and adhering to safety protocols.
This role requires physical stamina and a deep commitment to safety, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE. Your expertise is vital to the efficient flow of our logistics operations.
