We are looking for a diligent and organized Inventory Clerk to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and maintaining accurate inventory records. Your duties will include processing incoming and outgoing inventory, performing cycle counts, reconciling stock levels, and assisting in inventory audits. This position requires a strong focus on detail and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of our stock data. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to ensure efficient inventory operations and identify areas for process improvement. The ideal candidate possesses excellent clerical skills, familiarity with inventory software, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a logistics environment. Your contribution is key to ensuring efficient stock management and operational accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately record and update inventory transactions.
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist in receiving and stocking of new inventory.
- Prepare inventory reports as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert supervisors to potential issues.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas.
- Support physical inventory audits.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required PPE and ensure its proper use.
- Assist with other inventory-related tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in data entry and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
This role requires a commitment to accuracy and adherence to safety standards, including proper use of PPE. A good understanding of logistics processes will be advantageous.
