In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack merchandise. You will conduct daily inspections of equipment, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. This position requires a keen eye for detail, physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper placement and tracking.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Ensure a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
