Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include receiving, inspecting, documenting, and storing incoming inventory, as well as managing stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles, be proficient with inventory tracking systems, and possess excellent organizational skills. This position requires accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE. While primarily focused on data and stock management, some manual tasks involving lifting up to 30 lbs may be required. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming inventory.
  • Accurately record inventory levels and movements in the system.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse stock.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder points.
  • Prepare inventory reports for management.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and the correct use of PPE.
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support logistics operations.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of inventory control principles and logistics best practices.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
