Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our facility in Provo, Utah. This role is fundamental to our supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will be responsible for conducting thorough cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing robust inventory control procedures. Your efforts will directly contribute to reducing stockouts, minimizing shrinkage, and optimizing our warehouse efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. We emphasize a strong Safety culture, and all team members are required to adhere to safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, and actively participate in maintaining a secure work environment. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a larger team. While primarily focused on inventory accuracy, some tasks may involve moderate Lifting of stock items. Understanding of warehouse logistics and best practices is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain precise inventory records utilizing our inventory management system.
  • Develop, implement, and refine inventory control processes and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations.
  • Oversee the receiving and put-away process to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize stock rotation, and reduce waste.
  • Ensure all inventory is stored correctly, safely, and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics flow.
  • Strict adherence to all company Safety policies and the mandatory use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory control, stock management, or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a contributing team member.
  • Familiarity with warehouse and Logistics operations.
  • Unwavering commitment to Safety and proper PPE usage.
