This vital role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory through diligent tracking, auditing, and management. You will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. Your work will directly impact our overall logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction by ensuring product availability and order accuracy. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining a highly organized warehouse environment. We are dedicated to a safe workplace and require all employees to adhere to all safety standards, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves tasks that require significant attention to detail and may include moderate Lifting of inventory items. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status.
- Identify and report damaged or expired goods.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate inventory intake.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform tasks requiring occasional Lifting of up to 35 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Good understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe and efficient work environment.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
