We are seeking a focused and efficient Order Picker to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. As an Order Picker, you will be crucial to our logistics and fulfillment process, responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders. Your precision and speed directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our operations. A strong understanding of warehouse layouts and inventory systems is beneficial. You will be expected to maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all company policies. This is a great opportunity to be part of a vital team in the dynamic logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders (using RF scanners or pick sheets).
- Verify product identification and quantity to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed daily picking productivity targets.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Report any damaged or missing items to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Perform occasional manual Lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs.
- Understand and follow all logistics procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and perform frequent manual tasks including Lifting.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to Safety and following instructions.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
