We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that inventory is managed, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving incoming shipments, stocking shelves, fulfilling customer orders, and preparing items for dispatch. Collaboration with team members and adherence to company policies are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Stock and organize inventory on shelves and in designated areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and orders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and meet daily targets.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines, especially those related to safety and handling of materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE .
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation (e.g., pallet jacks) is beneficial.
