Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Verify product information during the picking process to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping, using designated packing materials.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Support the broader logistics team in various warehouse tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving frequent bending and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Awareness of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Good communication skills.
