We are hiring a Warehouse Worker for our facility in San Antonio, Texas. This role is fundamental to our distribution and logistics operations, ensuring efficient handling of goods. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving and inspecting inventory, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. This position demands physical endurance, including regular lifting , and a strong commitment to maintaining a secure and organized workspace. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and understands the importance of workplace safety . You will work collaboratively with a team to ensure all operational targets are met and that products are handled with care. Compliance with all company policies, particularly those regarding PPE , is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory levels.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing designated PPE at all times.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Perform manual tasks including significant lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including repeated lifting .
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics principles.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the proper use of PPE .
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic math and reading skills.
