We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our growing team in Nashville, Tennessee. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently gathering items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process and requires attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to accuracy. You'll be working with a variety of products, ensuring they are picked correctly and prepared for shipment. This is a physically active role within our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order slips or system information.
- Ensure correct items and quantities are selected.
- Use RF scanners or other picking equipment efficiently.
- Place picked items into appropriate containers for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing required PPE .
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work at a steady pace to meet productivity goals.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
