As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and picking products from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists. You'll prepare items for shipment, verify order accuracy, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. This position involves working in a dynamic warehouse environment where speed and precision are key. Adherence to all safety standards, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs) and work on your feet for extended periods is essential. Experience with warehouse technology is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product information and quantities.
- Stage orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Report any inventory discrepancies.
- Operate manual pallet jacks.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Proper use of PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a steady pace in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity for moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Awareness of warehouse safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
