We are seeking an efficient and reliable Order Picker to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations by accurately fulfilling customer orders. Your main responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves using a pick list or scanning device, preparing orders for shipment, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of each order. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to navigate the warehouse efficiently. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to follow all warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs) and operate basic warehouse equipment is necessary. Experience with order picking systems or RF scanners is a plus, but not required as training will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order requirements.
- Scan items and update inventory systems.
- Package items securely for shipment.
- Ensure order accuracy and quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks and other light equipment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Proper use of PPE is mandatory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of performing moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and PPE.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
