Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick ordered items from various locations within the warehouse using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect items for any damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials and methods.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to established protocols.
- Adhere to all company safety standards, including the correct use of PPE, and report any safety concerns.
- Participate in inventory management, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for the entire shift.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
This position is key to our logistics, requiring precision in picking and packing to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
