We are hiring Picker/Packers for our bustling logistics warehouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is fundamental to our success, requiring you to efficiently and accurately fulfill customer orders. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, ensuring the correct quantity and product type are selected, and then carefully packing them for safe shipment. Your precision and speed directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Verify product details and quantities before packing.
- Pack orders securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks safely for material movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow all procedures for lifting and handling materials to ensure personal and team safety.
- Support the overall smooth functioning of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds regularly.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow all logistics and safety procedures.
