Border Protection Officer Role Overview
The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Border Protection Officers. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding the nation's borders while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
Job Description:
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations to prevent illegal activities such as smuggling of goods or individuals into the United States.
- Facilitate the flow of legitimate trade by inspecting conveyances, verifying documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Determine admissibility for entry into the United States based on individual circumstances.
The CBP Field Operations Academy provides comprehensive training for new officers covering essential skills such as firearms proficiency,
routine inspections,
documentation review,
orminal lifting
and tactical communication methods.
The initial 101-day training program ensures that every officer possesses all necessary knowledge,
situational awareness
,decision making techniques.
You must be physically fit.
