CBPOs work collaboratively to safeguard the nation by enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws. They facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing illicit activity.

• Inspect people, documents, and goods for compliance with regulations.
• Evaluate evidence and make determinations in accordance with laws and regulations.

To be eligible for this role, you must meet one of the following requirements:

• A minimum of three years full-time general work experience demonstrating strong interpersonal skills or A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR A combination of successfully completed college education AND general work experience.
  OR For GS-7 grade level:
  A minimum of one year specialized full-time work experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level including performing physical inspections. 
  OR A bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement based on class standing, grade-point average, or honor society membership. 
  AND Graduate-level education is also acceptable if it demonstrates knowledge necessary for law enforcement duties /
