Client: Fortune 50 Financial Services Location: Charlotte, NC Hybrid 3 days onsite Work Authorization: USC or GC only (potential Contract-to-Hire; no sponsored candidates per business request) Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solutions Architect to support a major modernization initiative for a large-scale payments platform that processes all payments flowing through the bank. The first focus area will be the commercial banking wires platform, driving modernization and establishing a technical blueprint to be applied across additional platforms. Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end solutions design for complex, enterprise-scale systems. Translate business requirements into comprehensive, domain-driven technical designs. Architect highly scalable, cloud-ready microservices solutions. Contribute to the modernization of legacy systems and guide long-term technology strategy. Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure solution alignment and feasibility. Must-Have Qualifications
Cloud Modernization Expertise Experience modernizing enterprise platforms for cloud environments. AWS preferred, but strong cloud-native and cloud-agnostic architectural experience is essential. True Solutions Design Experience Strong background in Domain-Driven Design (DDD). Ability to take business needs and produce clear, extensible, scalable technical solutions. Extensive Architecture Experience 15+ years of overall IT experience with ~ 10+ years in architecture roles. Deep expertise in microservices architecture. Nice-to-Have Skills
