This includes developing and enforcing standards for hardware, software, and network configurations, as well as ensuring compatibility and interoperability between different systems. They also collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that workstation infrastructure aligns with business objectives.YOUR ROLECreate and maintain a comprehensive design plan for the organization's workstation infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network configurationsDevelop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for workstation deployment, management, and maintenanceDeploy and configure workstations to meet business needs, ensuring compatibility and interoperability with other systemsManage and maintain workstation hardware and software inventory, including upgrades, patches, and security configurationsMonitor workstation performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems to ensure optimal system functionalityOptimize workstation configurations to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance user experienceImplement and enforce security policies and protocols to protect workstations from unauthorized access and ensure data integrityCollaborate with other T&O teams, such as network and server administrators, to ensure workstation infrastructure aligns with business objectives and supports the organization's overall technology strategyDevelop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure that workstations and user data are protected in the event of a disaster or system failure.YOUR PROFILE5+ years' experience Workstation Architect or a related field.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master degree is a plusProven experience as a desktop support, network administration, or IT consultingIn-depth knowledge of workstation hardware, software, and networking technologies.Familiarity with desktop operating systems, application software, and hardware components like CPUs, memory, storage, and graphics cards.Strong skills in designing and architecting workstation infrastructure, including creating detailed designs and diagrams, and assessing and optimizing workstation performance.Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements, including data privacy laws, security standards, and industry regulations.Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocateOur Maison’s DNA is defined by five core values.
